course narrative
In WLC 300 we met the faculty of the World Languages department at CSUMB and learned a lot of very useful information. We met with Professor Saito-Abbott to create our individual learning plan(ILP) to maximize our time at CSUMB. Took the STAMP test in order to assess our current proficiency level with our target language. Introduced to many different careers and some of the ways CSUMB graduates got into these careers. Learned how to properly put together a resume and what companies look for within a resume. Visited the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and learned about graduate opportunities with them, and watched a live demonstration of interpretation and translation. Finally we also started our Major E-Portfolios.
